Safety

     PARSafety WorkIN ORDER TO HAVE A SAFE WORK, VERIFY THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:  

  • Know the slings forms and capacities.
  • What type of tiedown will be made.
  • Use of a blocking device.
  • Select the correct sling for the movement.
  • Do not exceed the sling's technical specifications.
  • Never use damaged sling (or use without physical inspection).
  • Never use a sling with abrasions or wear signals.
  • Do not utilize when there is a cut in the longitudinal direction.
  • Do not utilize when there is a cut in the crosswise direction.
  • If necessary, prepare for sharp corner protection.
  • Position the sling correctly at the proper load spot.
  • Check if there is any damage caused by heat.
  • Check for damages at the reinforcement and loop.
  • It is forbidden to use slings with knots.
  • Avoid the placement of multiple pairs of slings on the same hook.
  • Use hooks with a supporting radius never less than a ø of one inch for smooth and round sections.
  • Know what the friction value is between the load and the platform that will be bound.
  • Position the lifting hook upright and over the load's center of gravity.
  • Know the load weight, size and center of gravity.
    
     » STORAGE:
     Storage must be performed in a location with moderate temperatures and protected against the damaging effects of
     direct sun light.
     Storage can be performed using shelves or hooks, separating the materials according to their type.

     » MAINTENANCE:
     Maintenance is simple, inexpensive and quick, only requiring cleaning with a neutral soap for dirt removal (i.e. dust,
     grease, oil). Do not dry in hot places after washing.
